Joe Babick (Drums) began studying percussion at age 9 and started sitting in with local bands at the age of 11.   A 3 year veteran of Rockit, the gifted young musicians program at the nationally renowned Count Basie Theater,  Joe performed 12 concerts at the CBT before leaving to follow his propensity for improvisation as a result of a lifelong love of the Grateful Dead. Under the tutelage of professional drummer Ryan Carver, Joe continues to study the rudiments and improvisational techniques of jazz, fusion, and rock. Notable influences include Peter Erskine, John Molo, Billy Kreutzmann, and Buddy Rich to name a few.
